Hello! My name is Mish. And, yes. I'm shaving my head for charity on the 19th of March 2010!
Why?
All money raised from the shave will go to the
Leukaemia Foundation. The Leukaemia Foundation provides support services for patients of leukaemia and other blood cancers, and also funds research into causes, treatment, and much more. Find out more on their

How will you raise the money?
I'm raising money in two main ways at the moment. First, I'm asking people like you to give generously as my sponsor! No one's asking you to shave
your head - but I am asking you to sponsor me in any way you can. It will be greatly appreciated! You can donate on this website by credit card, or you can donate to me by cash. All donations over $2 are tax deductible - just make sure I give you a receipt.
Secondly, I'm selling Cadbury fundraiser chocolates to help spread the word of the shave, and raise money for the cause. If you know me from work or study, meet up with me to buy some from me any time you like! Alternatively, arrange a time we can meet up, and send me your order of chocolates beforehand so I can bring them along (I don't take them
everywhere, otherwise they might melt). They are
$1.20 each, and I'm currently selling the following:

Where/when?
The shave will be on
Friday, 19th March at 7pm.
It will be held at the
Queanbeyan Leagues Club, Monaro Street, Queanbeyan, NSW, Australia.
This will be a public event, and you can bring your friends and family. There will be a raffle, MC, music, and a whole group of people either shaving or colouring. It will be a lot of fun, so come along and cheer us on! Justin Carney from the Canberra Raiders will be shaving his head too! There will also be a $100 Riverside Plaza gift voucher given away as a door prize.
But... your fringe!
Yes, I know... my fringe has been a part of me for so long now! Anyone who's been in contact with me for the last four or five years probably doesn't remember what I look like without that crazy fringe covering the top half of my face. In March, it will be gone! I will be a different Mish!
I say it's all the more reason to sponsor me! I'll be giving up something I love in the hope I'll make a difference. I've never thought that shaving my head would be easy - I know there'll be times when I really wish I had my hair back. But it's worthwhile, and I'm sure I won't regret it at all, even if I don't reach my target fundraising goal.
